Our mission at Beacon Psychology is to provide a safe and nurturing space in which we can help every one of our clients to realize, enhance, and utilize their personal strengths so they can meet their goals and overcome their challenges. We understand that deciding to seek therapy is a significant and courageous step and we appreciate you considering allowing us to help you in this journey.
To request a no-cost, 15-minute phone consultation with Dr. Cruz-Katz click here. During the consultation, we will discuss the nature of your challenges, how we can help, and any questions you may have. If comfortable proceeding, we will schedule a 60-minute intake session so that we can better understand your presenting problems and personal history and interests. We will also formulate your treatment goals and discuss which treatment components are likely to be the most beneficial before scheduling ongoing sessions.
We apologize however, Beacon Psychology does not provide emergency services. If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
We ask that clients who wish to cancel or reschedule their appointment inform Beacon Psychological at least 48 hours prior. If you do not do so, we will be unable to make the appointment available to others and will therefore have to apply the late cancellation/no show fee, which is equivalent to one session. Please keep in mind that we are always happy to reschedule your appointment if more than 48 hours in advance.
